MEDICARE AND CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Medicare is playing an increasing
role in helping people obtain chiropractic treatment. We feel that
our patients deserve the best possible chiropractic care we can
provide. In an effort to maintain our high quality of care, we would
like to share some Medicare facts and their policies with you.
-
Medicare pays a large portion of the
treatment leaving the patient with a small co-payment. If you have
secondary insurance coverage, you may not have any co-payment.

-
Medicare usually covers up to 24
visits per calendar year.

-
We file all the necessary paperwork
for you.
If you have any questions concerning
your Medicare benefits, please give our office a call at (916)
944-1444.
AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE AND MEDPAY
Many auto policies have an optional
insurance plan called Med-Pay. Med-Pay stands for medical payments.
It is insurance that covers treatment if you are involved in an
automobile accident. Here are some of the benefits of Med-Pay:
-
All occupants of the vehicle are
covered for injuries
-
Med-Pay pays directly to the medical
provider
-
Coverage is inexpensive. This is a
very economical way to make sure you have coverage for injuries even
if you do not have health insurance.
-
Med-Pay covers injuries from most
moving vehicle injuries
If you do not have Med-Pay or need
more information, you may call our office or contact your insurance
representative.
